Judges Caution Lawyers Against Blind Use of AI Tools Like ChatGPT in Court Proceedings

Judges from India, the UK and the US have cautioned lawyers against blindly relying on AI tools like ChatGPT while drafting pleadings and arguments. Speaking at the India International Disputes Week 2026, they stressed the need to verify AI-generated legal content to prevent errors, fake citations and misuse of artificial intelligence in courts.
